Ixtapa Zihua Independence Day Schedule

The Municipality of Zihuatanejo de Azueta invites the public to join in the Independence Day celebrations that will take place starting at 6 p.m. on Monday, September 15th on the esplanade of the Palacio Municipal or town hall, just off Plaza del Sol. These activities will lead up to and continue after “El Grito” at 11 p.m.

Scheduled around El Grito are folkloric dances and performances by musical groups, fireworks, the crowning of the Queen and a street fair at which vendors will be able to sell their wares and food items.
