Little Suiza Restaurant

A new off-beach restaurant, Little Suiza, is now open in the La Ropa area of Zihuatanejo, offering a welcome addition to the range of our culinary options here in town.

Little Suiza is located at the level of the arch on the road to the La Ropa beach, a couple of doors down from the Hotel Real de Palma. You’re greeted at the door by the sound of water running over stones as you cross over the little bridge of a garden water feature to make your way into the pleasant, terraced and casual outdoor eating area surrounded by greenery, rustic hanging lanterns, garden sculptures and other landscaping elements.

Little Suiza’s menu centers around the savory and hearty Swiss sausage, and restaurant owners Jeannie and Amado offer three varieties: Bratwurst (white veal sausage), Cervelat (a coarser pork-based sausage), and Schubling (similar to Polish sausage), cooked over an open grill and accompanied by potato and beet salads with garnish of grilled tomato and onion and a special, strong mustard.  The menu also offers several charcoal grilled hamburger variations with or without french fries, a house salad and a range of ice-cream based desserts, including a banana split, hot berry sundae and hot chocolate sundae. For beverages there are sodas, speciality coffees, wine and beer.

Little Suiza on La Ropa is open for dinners only, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
