A 4-day International Peace Event to celebrate the United National International Day of Peace (September 21st) will take place in Ixtapa Zihuatanejo from September 20 through the 23rd. This is a “Heads of Households” event to which the local citizens and business people are invited in order to foster peace in our communities and between nations, with the themes being

The Peace Summit activities will include nature, community and educational tours and luncheons, all be carried out in Spanish, English and French. Summit venues are Las Palmas Hotel on Playa Blanca, ZI Restaurant at Club Intrawest on La Ropa Beach, La Universidad
Tecnológica de La Costa Grande de Guerrero in Petatlan, and the Dorado Pacifico Beach Resort in Ixtapa.
On September 21st Zihuatanejo will celebrate its First Annual United Nations International Day of Peace Celebration at the Peace Pole Monument at Olof Palme Plaza beside the Archaeological Museum on Playa Muncipal, with music, dancing, food and fun.
