Wow, an announcement was recently made that FOOD & WINE magazine,presenters of the FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen, Colorado and sponsors of both the New York City Wine & Food Festival and South Beach Wine & Food Festival, has chosen Ixtapa Zihuatanejo to launch an inaugural FOOD & WINE event as they venture into Latin America for the first time.
This will be a three-day festival featuring the local regional cuisine and both local and international chefs cooking up a storm of fabulous Mexican flavors. Activities and events are still to be firmed up, but are said to include seminars, local culinary tours and food presentations.The festival is being hosted in conjunction with the Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo Convention and Visitors Bureau and will be taking place from March 26th to 28th, 2011.
