The 2011 Silver Fair is on in the silver center of Taxco de Alarcon in the hills of Guerrero, from December 3 through 10.
Beside the focus on silver and exhibits of silver craftsmanship for which Taxco is so well-known, the fair also features activities that include a number of classical, rock and popular music concerts, traditional dance presentations, a graffiti contest, and a series of races such as a sack race, burro race and waiter’s race.
