There is much more protection for swimming at the southern, Barra de Potosi end, where there is also a large lagoon where visitors can enjoy boat or kayak trips into the mangroves for birdwatching. Most enjoyable on these beaches are the opportunities for long, solitary beach walks, horseback riding along the sands, and at certain times, watching dolphins cavort wildly in the waves. |
