The 31st Manuel Enriquez International Forum of New Music takes place in various venues in Mexico City and Morelia between May 24th and June 7, 2009.
There will be interpretations of more than 100 provoking and innovative musical works presented by a wide variety of specialized musicians, groups and invited soloists.
Of particular interest to us here in Zihuatanejo are the events scheduled from June 1st through June 6th in the colonial city of Morelia, Michoacan which is highly accessible to us via the Lazaro Cardenas – Morelia highway putting that city within an easy 4-1/2 hour drive from the coast.
Morelia will be presenting a whole range of conferences and classes, sound installations, concerts and recitals in venues that include the Conservatorio de las Rosas, Teatro Ocampo and the CMMAS Auditorium.
