There is a United States Consular Service office in Ixtapa for aid to U.S. citizens. and although there are no other Embassies or Consulates in the immediate area, visitors can easily contact the official representatives of their home countries in Mexico City and other major cities of Mexico.
For Canadian citizens, there is a Canadian Consulate now open in the port of Acapulco, Guerrero. On this page you will find contact information for these resources as well as the websites of several of other international embassies and delegations.
