Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo and Troncones offer the visitor a large range of sports and outdoor activities.

Water Sports of all kinds, including surfing, diving & snorkeling, boogie boarding, water skiing, parasailing, kayak rentals,sailing, wave runners and banana boat rides.

There are some fabulous diving and snorkeling sites in the area - and we have a special section dedicated to this captivating activity.

Fish for big game fish such as Dorado, Marlin, Sail and Roosterfish

Golf at either of two excellent golf courses in Ixtapa.

Cave, jungle canopy and biking tours in the Troncones area.

Sailing, snorkeling and Kayaking adventures - both in and outside of Zihuatanejo Bay and in the nearby lagoons that are havens for a myriad of marsh birds and other creatures.

If an intensely physically active vacation doesn't appeal to you, there are other activities such as beachcombing our many beaches, checking out the local museum, exploring the Market and day trips to Petatlan,  Barra de Potosí and other nearby towns.
