Zihuatanejo's
Casa de la Cultura or Cultural Center is located in the Centro Social
Municipal on José María Morelos Avenue.
The Casa de la Cultura offers occasional Art Shows
and theater performances, as well as series of free artistic workshops
for those interested in participating in local Dance, Plastic Arts,
Music and Theater groups.
Workshops offered include: Music, Classical Ballet,
Jazz, Folk Dancing, Drama, Handcrafts and Painting, Literary Workshops
for Children, and Representative Theater.
In order to provide a greater variety of cultural
events and programs for the local youth and general population,
La Casa de la Cultura welcomes any donations of equipment, materials
or supplies that could possibly be of use in such an endeavor.
