Exhibitors cover a large range of topics
and products. At Expo 2000, one of the most interesting
was dedicated to the protection of endangered species, with
local baby sea turtles and crocs on display.

Plants and flowers were also on show and
for sale on the main drag of Expo 2000. Many of the
booths at typical fairs sell regional products, candies and
souvenirs. Expo 2000's exhibits ranged from edibles to live
animals, oriental paper lanterns to Egyptian natural cosmetics. |

Food is usually very much in evidence everywhere
-- especially hot dogs, burgers, tacos and pizzas. You can
get churros drizzled with honey, pink cotton candy
and cool tropical fruit ices. Many fairs have sit-down food
areas where you can take the load off your feet while eating. |

Popular in Mexico are the Animal houses
in which such phenomena as 4-legged chickens and 5-horned
sheep are sadly on display.
Signs are often posted in front of certain
exhibits stating that entrance is prohibited, or to be undertaken
under one's own risk, for pregnant women, people with weak
hearts, spinal problems or high blood pressure and drunks,
and that no responsibility is taken for lost articles.
